Exactly..not being normal seems to be fairly pervasive. Lot of folks accused me of acting "sorta strange" over the years but just couldn't quite figger out what it was. The symptoms are:

Terrrible at math.
Horrible handwriting.
Rough social interaction skills (does not make friends easily..does not play well with others etc)
Poor skills at reading facial expressions and body language.

So I finally diagnosed myself with NLD (Non Verbal Learning Discorder) The Little Bride says its true. I rely more on what folks say as opposed to what their body language is showing.  On the other hand she can tell what I'm really thinking just by looking at me even though I'm saying something else. Then that gets me riled up thinking I dont really feel that way and she is trying to be a mind reader..which is also a good clue as to whether a person has it or not. Fortunately I have a girl cousin who worked with NLD folks to try to make them act right. She seems to think I am eat plumb up with it. If anybody else is bad at math and has poor hand writing..and act uncouth in social settings..can check for sure right here. I am hoping Obamie will start sending out checks for this condition.

Thanks for the laugh.  I've always been told "you have nice hand writiing......for a man".  Women can be so sexist!  I am bad at math though.....

Hmmm..this good hand writing thing might be a dis-qualifier on the big money from the Feds.  Mine is so bad I have sometimes been accused of having been a Doctor in a previous incarnation.  Now one helpful person claim it looks like somebody stick a ball point pen up the coola and squat over a piece of paper on a table table and start wiggling to and fro. I dont think its quite that bad. Now being antisocial is definite plus. Might outweigh the good hand writing problemo. Let us think on it for a while. lol

I don't even know what normal is - the human genome is far to varied to classify any behavior or lifestyle as "normal". What most of us mean by "normal" is really just "like me".

Tend to agree with you Sir. Many moons ago I was identified as being left brain dominant or left brained as it was called.  They did not claim folks like that was nutty just had talents different from the math major injuneer types. Apparently the right brain is where arithmetic and schematics is stored so I did not tend to use that half too much. I just recently found out it had been classified as an ailment. Now I have kin who look act and talk like Slingblade. They eat the mustard on biscuits etc. I am currently trying to figger out what they got. Do anybody remember a clinical diagnosis from the movie? Thanks.

Normal is.. Well, dull and boring.. Highly overrated, and to be honest, Well.. We all like to pack up our rolling houses and go places.. NORMAL, per the standards of society, does not include WHEELS under the house.  It is a house with a solid foundation that is not supposed to go rolling, rolling, down the highway.. Not a house you can "Park" somewhere.  Since we are bout houses that roll down the highway and get parked (Be they motor homes or trailers) I guess there are no "Normals" here by the defination of society... In short. You are in excelent company, Jump in, the water's fine and though we do bite.  Well We bite.. Dinner (Breakfast, Lunch, assorted snacks) not each other.

I think "normal" means you fit in a mold.  Ain't never been me.....ain't never gonna be me.....and I'm totally OK with that.

I'm not a follower.....I can think for myself and decide which way I want to go and by many standards, it may not be the "right" way but it's right for me.  Don't follow me.....you'll probably get lost.

Dang folks yall are cheering me up here. In addition to other bad faults due to a personality test I was diagnosed as having a Rational personality type.  This inhabits only 15% of the population. For example we have been looking at camping options and I say Wow..40 bucks a night. Aint that special? Person should be able to find a no tell motel for less than that. Let me guess..It aint about the money perhaps? See that sounds a little irrational to me..lol. It can be a curse.

Well sure glad the smart folks has prevailed. I aint going to buy no steekne new camper. Thanks. I got the Class C in the driveway. All it need is a Mr Fixit to come over and get it purring..which be cheaper than a new one. Yall are such rational folks on here. Sides..the the Warden dont like to go in the old one since I have managed to convince her it has leaking propane and has exotic fungus growing in there ect.  That is good way to keep nosey wimen out of a persons bizness huh?
