I keep hearing an occasional POP

I am new to all this. Just started FT and occasionally I hear a POP sound that sounds like a walnut hitting my slide out in bedroom. Can this happen when it heats up and cools down ?if not what else can it be? It is so loud it scares my dogs sometimes.

Our leveling jacks can make sounds, especially when extended extra far.
(btw: If you put year and model of your rig and tow vehicle, it will save yourself a lot of time and will keep folks from always asking) What kind of RV do you have? Does it have leveling jacks?

Might not what you are hearing be something hitting the RV? Are there trees nearby? If the sound is from outside then it is most likely exactly what it sounds like.
