All these toll pass do-dads were getting a bit confusing. I originally had a SunPass from my days in Florida, Then we moved to Arkansas, and some of my customers were in DFW, and others in OKC. so I got tags for those two. Then, back to Colorado, and I got the Express toll. Later, I went Mobile, and was wandering about the whole Eastern Seaboard, While visiting family in Maine, I signed up for the EZ Pass.
Well, now the consolidations started.
So, Texas, OK and Kansas consolidated their toll system, but I still had accounts with all three, and Colorado Consolidated with the TX,OK, and KS. And last year, I think Florida's SunPass Joined up with EZPass.
Now Florida also has picked up TX-OK-KN
So, I need the Colorado one, because they aren't merged with EZ, or Sunpass, and I can use my SUNpass for everybody but Colorado, now.
I had all these toll bits charged up for when I needed them, about 150 bucks in all, just sitting there waiting to be used. I can cut down to Colorado, and SunPass, now,
AND, I spent the day removing the tags from vehicles so I don't have to sweat being double, or triple charged when I hit the road back East, in June, and I cancelled some of them to free up about 100 bucks in potential tolls that I can put back in my bank account.
