OK you all were looking for a good laugh so I am going to do my best to provide you a little chuckle...

I was on top of my MH last weekend trying to put on the cover I just bought. I had my 12yr old son helping and as I was telling him to be careful not to step on the roof vent.....and  guess what I did..... :-[

Now I'll give you a minute to stop laughing.......................

So my question is can the vent cover be replaced without replacing the entire vent. It's one of those with a large fan and is located just behind the driver and roughly near the entry door. I have no idea what the MFG is of the vent... ???

The majority of the vents are available with either cover or whole unit. Check the local rv store I know ours have many varieties but as a last resort you might have to go to the manufacturer ....good luck

If it is a 10 blade fan, it's probablly a Fantastic model.? If so, a call to the company (see http://www.fantasticvent.com for product and contact information) will get you a replacement with no questions asked.

If not a Fantastic, then any RV supply store should have the covers available.

Since (if I remember correctly) it's an older rig, it's probably a three or four blade fan from Ventline, Elixir or a Jensen rather than a 10 blade from Fantastic Vent or Maxair.  See this website for identification and replacement parts.
