I want to haul a motorcycle and a car at the same time?

I was wandering if there was a trailer that I could use to haul a motorcycle and a car together? I was thing it would turn the motorcycle sideways and then tow the car right behind it. Also I think are rv said it had a tow limit of 3500lbs or something like that. I'm not sure if thats correct. We have a 30 foot Winnebago.

There is a real nice unit, ends up being about $4000. Just google motorcycle car tow dolly.  Plenty of hits.  This is with the stuff you need.  Now as to the weight, so much depends.  3500 is not a lot, 5k would be better.  If you had a diesel you could put a lift on and still tow car.  Another option, get a pickup and put the bike in back, then tow 4 down.

I tow my bike in a trailer and rented a car.  I am in one plzce for almost 5 months though.

A small truck plus a bike. might get over limit.  So can a car. tow dolly and MC.  With truck and bike it wouldb be close. 

4 down means no dolly, all 4 wheels down.  Need manual or 4wd.  Automatic 2wd typically can't be towed without major mods.

With a 3500 lb. towing capacity, you're pretty limited in what you can tow.

Any of the small pickups will weigh at least 3000 - 3500 lbs dry, by themselves.  Add a 500 lb bike, a 800-1000 lb trailer/tow dolly and you're well over the weight limit for your motorhome.

Well I think I figured it out. A small older toyota tacoma is around 2500-2700 lbs and my bike is a sportbike it lighter. It weighs no more than 400 lbs. 
So I'm pretty new to this and I'm figuring everything  out. Why is it better to haul a 4wd or a manual vs most typical 2 automatic? Just curious...

and maybe more specifacally how hard would it be to haul an awd automatic subaru?

400 lbs + 2700 lbs = 3100 lbs.   The trailer-dolly rig that Bill cited weighs 600 lbs.   600 + 3100 = 3700 lbs.  That is 2000 200 lbs over your tow rating.   The website that Bill linked us to has an exellent rundown on weight issues.  Read it.

Very few 2 wheel drive or AWD vehicles can be towed 4 down.  Most manual transmission and 4WD with a transfer case with a neutral position can be towed that way.  However, you need to read the owner's manuals to determine the towability of a particular vehicle.

I think Karls 0 stuttered, that would be 200 over.  I wouldn't recommend anyone go overweight, I might do it myslef, with some precautions, but never admit it.

We have a Subaru Impreza WRX and the manual specifically states that it cannot be towed at all--either one end up on a tow truck or 4-down. Their AWD systems are similar across models so check carefully if you are considering a Subie.
