I40 Eastbound after Kingman AVOID

I was just putting it out there for anyone potentially going that way. We don't always check Google before driving a known route.

We were going the opposite way....

Route 66 is a good highway and not heavily traveled. It has a few hills going East but not significant. I would not hesitate to take it. And until they fix I40, it's a much better highway.

The I40 has mostly been resurfaced between Flagstaff and Kingman. It only had a couple of small rough patches.

I 40 East Bound from California border to Arizona 95 is in horrible condition.

Good to know. Last time we took it the road was very rough.

The road from the junction up to Boulder City was pretty poor.
