The platform it was built on...
On your registration and/or Title and somewhere on the rig itself is a V.I.N. (Vehicle Identification Number)

May be able to tell you some things based on that number.

Fun fact... When I was working we had a program, in the last iteration of the office called VIN assist.
I believe it was a DOS program running on a windows PC.

The program was originally written for a VIC-20 by an FBI agent I knew
What it does is attempt to correct the vin if say someone has ..er.. "Edited" it.

Well he came to my house to test it.. So I made up a Chevy vin.. Turns out the vin I made up was.. Legit.
(passed the tests) I think the odds of that are 1 in 11. OR less.

Heh...VIC20. That was my very first computer. I got it at a thrift store on Eielson AFB back in 1985. I had no idea what to do with it. It was just the computer console, and power cord. With the help of some other knowledgeable friends, I found out I really needed the "cassette" part of it to load and store the programs. I learned a lot on that old VIC20, and eventually upgraded to a Commodore 128 with two disk drives and a 14.4K baud modem. Oh the memories.

Sorry to hijack the thread...I can't help with the van you found. It sure is a unique looking vehicle. I can't tell if it is a Ford, GM or Dodge, or some other make. What do you plan on doing with it?

the title is a1987 p30,,although its 4x4 ,6.2 diesel ..the rig is built so well that i dont beleive it was done by an individual in his personal shop..just stumped

the rig was purchased as incomplete vehichle with a gas 5.7 ,4x2 ,dually ..its now diesel,4x4 that looks built in a custom shop..to build this rig today without the ammenities would cost $150,000-200,000 just dont know

its forsale sir

I suggest you post it for sale in the Member Classifieds as it is the proper and correct place to do it and it won't get lost there. Once posted, the Site Team locks the post within a day to prevent it from becoming just another thread, and you can respond to inquires by personal message on the board or by email.
