Ignoring threads

There have been several threads that I had set to "ignore" on the previous software load. They all seem to have reappeared. But a "button" at the top of the thread is labeled ignore. When I press that button to try to again "ignore" the thread it asks if I'm certain that I want to "unignore" it. Hmmm...

Since it's showing anyway, I clicked it and it "unignored the thread. Pressing that "button" again set it to "ignore" once again and that "button" now read "unignore." A refresh made the thread disappear. So it appears that there's a mild bug to fix.

I've not yet encountered one of my "ignored" people, so don't know whether that has the same problem. So I'll report here when I encounter that, one way or the other.

No the ignored people does not work, or I need to re-ignore a few. No offence, my thoughts simply do not align with theirs.

It looks like if you ignore a new thread, your old ignores will be restored. There is a caching issue here that we may not be able to fix, but simply ignoring one more thread should do the trick for you.

The easiest way to ignore someone or thing is to just scroll right past and "ignore" them,,, what's the problem...>>>Dan

After you click on the thread you want to ignore, at the top right corner of the thread column, is the ignore button.

I just encountered one of the folks I had ignored- it disappeared after I hit IGNORE again and refreshed. So perhaps that, too, just needed to be retriggered.

No, Dan, we hung up our keys in Sept '23. I sure miss it, though.
