Hi all,

I'm 54 years old and an empty nester. I'm a licensed professional counselor and a certified sex offender treatment provider so as you can imagine sometimes I need a vacation. I bought a 31 foot Crossroads Bel Air camper that is a (ahem) "fixer upper." I look forward to using this forum for much needed information.

Hello to a kindred soul!

I'm retired as a clinical social worker therapist. I bought my first camper, a 15' Parkliner fiberglass egg camper, about 3 years ago. The learning curve goes on.

As I'm sure you've surmised, campers require a whole new set of skills and consciousness. Some things will seem stressful and overwhelming. I've learned it's like everything else. Keep watching youtube videos and podcasts to learn everything you can. In time everything gets internalized and easy.

Welcome!

It's never too late to enjoy the RV life.  We bought our first RV when I was 64.  Bought our current RV when I was 73.  That was 3 years ago.  As Nike says, Just Do It.
