Inks Lake, Texas State Park- Get Away

Hello Board,

Fixing to Rev the V10 and Launch from the Desert Home Base.  Gonna take a trip to Inks Lake Texas.  Going to be a quick trip, just to get away.  Packed up the Pack, and some Lead just in case things go south.

Think I only have water and electric here.  Came in under 60 bucks for a 3 night adventure.

I have seen alot of nice You Tube on Inks Lake. 

I got Tyler State Park up there near Dallas Real soon.  Going against my better Judgement and taking both (2 of 3 that is) the Grand Kids at the same time.  Oh well!

I will snap a few pics and come back and let you know how it went. 

Nice quick little under 300 mile Round Trip down there.

Now (Winter) is the time to be eXploring TeXas.

Indeed! We just left Mother Neff State Park-- one of the cleanest parks we've ever stayed at. Full hookups for $175 per week:

Also on our reservation list for the next few weeks:
Cedar Hills, Blanco, Goliad, Lake Corpus Christi, and Brazos Bend.

Never know what to count on for TX weather this time of year as we've seen everything from a pretty heavy snow to sunny 70+ weather!
