Installing a backup camera to my 1994 Four Winds Class C

Having a problem finding a route for the video camera wire as well as getting power to the camera.  The instructions with the camera say to mount it on the license plate but that is rather high being part of the driver side tail light.  This would definitely make the backup less useful to me.  The best solution would of course be in the center of the unit but there is nothing but the corrugated sheet metal there, lowering it to the bumper makes it nearly impossible to get power to it and the video cable to any water tight entry point.

Has any one else done this type project that would be willing to suggest a way to get it done?
 
I think you are considering the wrong type of camera for the job at hand. The license plate type is a poor choice. Have a look here:

They are likely more expensive than the license plate type but they are right for the job. There are many outlets where similar cameras are sold.
