Installing roof vent, roof stability?

I need to install a roof vent cover, just wondering about putting weight on the roof. Does anyone build a weight bearing support ladder for across the roof (on a travel trailer?)

You "could" use a 4x4 sheet of plywood I suppose, it would be cheaper than buying a purpose built ladder.

Most TT roofs are built plenty strong to be able to walk around and do roof repairs. I have done this many times on some of the older TTs I have had in the past. I wouldn't worry too much but just to be on the safe side it would probable be wise to contact the manufacture and get their input.
