After repairing the structure in the "chin" area of my 5w I need to replace the pink insulation.  Originally there was about 3 1/2" of unfaced fiberglass insulation.  I have similar material left over from S&B remodel however it's faced with paper.  Is there any reason I can't use the faced insulation, with the paper facing the floor?

Be aware, every time I have read the installation instructions for Reflectix, they recommend an air gap between the conditioned space and the Reflectix for it to work properly. That can be difficult, if not impossible to do.
