What is the favorite insurance for a TT only. I'm unhappy with my auto insurance, and now have my TT bundled with it, but want to separate the two.
I realize it may be more expensive, but that's how unhappy I am with my current company.

I'm a part time camper and store my TT for most of the year.

Thanks.

It will be a regional thing. For me, State Farm, but I have never had a TT claim with them either. They are superior with auto, but I have been with them 45 years.

Last year Good Sam ran a special on RV insurance if you had their roadside assistance which was cheaper than anyone else. Since they have good ratings and are nation wide the coverage is too. I've had 3 assistance calls in 10 years and they were all handled to my satisfaction. I haven't had any home or vehicle insurance claims in 40 years so I'm hoping their insurance is good also.

We have Progressive on our 5W.

Agree with Kirk - switch ALL your insurance!

But get RV-only quotes anyway. An RV-specialist agency like Miller's can help with the shopping.

There are so many variables in insurance pricing that you cannot rely on what someone else is paying as a guide. You need to figure out what coverage you want and then get lots of quotes. For the trailer alone you only need collision and comprehensive, and if you have a home owner policy you already have adequate liability for accidents around the campsite. The tow vehicle's liability covers any damages the trailer causes while being towed.
