Hello, I just joined rvforum and was looking for info in regards to a light to loader beeping my 2004 Holiday Rambler. I found this post from 2013 and it sounds exactly like what I am having an issues with. Any solutions out there.
Thanks in advance, looks like a great forum to be part of...
Cheers...

I have something similar. On my '04 HR Ambassador, there is a soft beeb I get when the road begins to be wet.  It starts very soft and increases but is never as loud as the leveling jack warning.  I think it may have to do with the ATC.  Any ideas how I can stop this annoying noise?

Hi and welcome to the forum.

Hopefully someone will be along with some suggestions for you....

Check the propane detector; they beep when they expire, also the fridge my old one beeped when a door was open. And finally your phone for needing to charge.

Happy Thanksgiving,

Ernie

Do you get the beep 24 hours a day?  If you do, have you check your batteries. A low battery will cause the LP detector to beep.

OOPS,  Ernie beat me by 1 minute.  :eek: ::) :-\ :'( ;)

Please provide more detailed information.  What model of 2004 HR - there are various chassis types and features that could have different warnings beeps?  And please describe the circumstances more, e.g. when this beep begins, how long it continues, frequency, etc.?  Does yours start softly and get louder like the one you referenced? And it only happens on when moving on wet roads?

Like Gary said, more info on the chassis and circumstances.  If it's on a Freightliner, it seems to be common.  Mine started doing it last month when I put the transmission in gear.  The parking brake safety switch in the dash or the parking brake sensor somewhere forward of the rear axle they say may cause the problem.  Lots of info and causes if you search the forums.  I hunted and hunted on my last trip to find a fault and ended up just unplugging the chime to get home.  I still have to locate the issue and tackle the repair.  Keep us posted on what you find.
