With my solar install complete, I am now getting ready to install our inverter, a Victron Multiplus 3000 watt with smart ATS. My questions, are the connections that need to be made need to be done in a certain sequence, ie. inverter to batteries first, then inverter in and out to the panel second, vice versa or does it matter?  Also, should I remove the class T fuse I have installed when making the connection to the battery?  I did not see anything in the manual regarding a sequence.  I do have a high voltage cut-off switch in place and is currently off,

I would remove the main ground off of batteries. And make sure ALL power is turned off (AC/DC).

I agree with Gizmo. Lift battery negative before doing anything else and last thing restore it.

As for hooking up 120 or 12 volt in or out first.. Does not matter as you will have the inverter turned OFF and all power off to the best of your ability.

Once it's hooked up you can restore in any order

I'd hook up the wires easiest to bend first .  Or the ones hardest to bend depending on the install.

Thank you both for your replies.  I too agree with disconnecting the battery ground and planned to do so, good to know the connection order does not matter as that was my main concern.
