Is RV Forum an off shoot from RV net?

No. The original RV Forum was started in 1993 as the first RV-related online community. Here's some of our early history, before being acquired by RV Life in 2018.

Is RV Forum an off shoot from RV net?

As I recall this forum started on Compuserve Information Service before RVnet existed.
I date back to CIS where I was a moderator in a couple of DIFFERENT forums.,
I go back to 300 baud dial up modems (though I used a 450 and later a 1200 then a 2400)
and as CIS was $/minute I used a "offline" method so I downloaded at max speed then read and composed off line and uploaded later. I kind of miss those days of TEXT only.

RV net was run originally by the "Affinity" group and eventually became "Camping World" and it's subsidiaries.

The RV life forums have never been associated with either Marcus Lemonis or David Garvin.

RV life does sponsor an entire "family" of forum sites though and each one offers a different emphasis. I use and participate on multiple sites, as does many of the members.
