I’m having an issue with my HWH 610 hydraulic leveling system on my class A MH. The MH has been sitting (storage) for the past year, with the leveling system in the down position. I started getting things ready for travel. Diesel was started and as I wanted to bring up the hydraulics, I pressed the power button on the “Computerized Leveling” panel and All the lights came on. Definitely not normal.
Nothing would operate. I could turn the panel off (lights went off) by pushing the Off button. Tried many times to get it to work, but nothing changed. I removed the panel and unplugged the panel, thinking this might reset the circuit board of the panel. That didn’t have any effect.
I tried numerous calls to HWH and emailed them today, no response.
The MH is unmovable, as it’s sitting on all for levelers.

Any thoughts would be appreciated, Ed

I should have added the photo of the panel and lights.

Start by downloading the HWH Service Manual and go through the troubleshooting section. If you still have questions, post again.
Thank you Kirk. I do have the Service Manual and followed every step in the Trouble Shoot, with no success. I’ve had this coach for 20+ years and this is the first time it has acted this way. It has to be a short in the circuit which is causing all the lights to be lite and preventing the jacks from retracting.
I do appreciate your input and others. Still with no resolution to my problem. Thank you, Ed

Wow - lit up like the proverbial Christmas tree. Could be the control panel itself, but since it sat for a year, I'm more inclined to think it's a problem in the wiring harness causing the controller to go nuts. Humidity or corrosion at the contact points (either end) and shorting (or opening?) the control circuits. Maybe even some wiring that got chewed by some critter who took up residence in the coach. Tough to troubleshoot, though. You might try electronic contact cleaner where the harness plugs to the panel and maybe on the other ends as well, where the wires branch out to the pump & valves, the level sensor, etc. And visually inspect as much as possible to find a possible damaged wire. Swapping in a new controller is an expensive way to determine if the problem is the panel or the wiring, but sometimes that's the most practical method.

Thank you Gary, I do have a tech coming over today. Hopefully he too has some ideas. I’m generally thinking it might have been a critter causing this reaction. I’ve checked the lines and can’t find any breaks, but will get to contact cleaner and also try that.
I’ll post the results…if there are any regarding the techs input. Thank you,

Update: My issue has been resolved. A tech came out earlier today and determined that the solenoid associated with the hydraulic pump, had prevented the system from operating. As he described, the initial electrical charge to the solenoid was weak, so the solenoid stopped communication. He “charged out” the solenoid canceling the signal and all is working properly now. (I’m not into electronics, but I somewhat understood what he was saying). He just used a voltmeter during his 10 min. fix. Thank you all for your suggestions and ideas. Appreciated much. Ed

I am a retired electromechanical technician but I have no idea what that means. I suspect that he knew that And something was lost in the trip from him to us, but all that is really important is that he made it work. (y)
