I have reservations at this park. Does anyone have any info on this park? What is the difference between the "pond area'" sites and "hill top" sites? Any info would be appreciated.

I have never been in the Pennekamp, though we have been frequent visitors to the Florida Keys for many years. One thing I can assure you is that the "hill top" sites aren't too high or too far from the water. A hill in the Keys is maybe 6-8 feet tall and nothing is very far from the water. I suspect they are merely distinguishing between waterfront area and another area on a different loop, not on the water.

There is a campground map on the Reserve America reservations website. You should be able to identify your specific campsite if they gave you a site number.
