I bought it for my cousin to live in here in the southwest. The former owner had lived in but we have to move it. Which side is the main fuel tank on? he wants to put gas in and we only have to go less than 10 miles.

Welcome to The RV Forum, Armadillogal!

Usually the fuel filler is on the driver's side, it may be hidden behind a 6"x6" door.

When you put insurance on it, ask for roadside assistance. That way if anything goes wrong, you can get it towed the rest of the way.

Once you get it where you are going, you can cancel the insurance.

Check your tires dates first. The chances are good they will need replacement if you are going any distance at all.

OP said less than 10 miles, I'd certainly risk that.  Drive slow for sure.

If it has sat, and is out of gas, I suspect a whole bunch of issues just to start, mostly a gas tank full of rust, and a fuel system clogged up.

Seriously, if it has starting issues, pay to have it towed to your resting place for your cousin, the couple hundred will be money well spent.
