I cant wait to get out there. I love the desert. This spring is going to be marvelous by the way. Theres been alot of water during the winter. The more water in the winter, the more color in the spring when the cactus bloom

Kevin,
Thanks for hosting this gathering, it was an enjoyable time and interacting with your Granddaughters was a delight.  To you fellow campers, thanks for being a bright spot in this old man life.
    Looking forward to next year.

Another great KOFA rally! It was wonderful to get together and meet a few more of the forum members. KOFA is one of my favorite places to camp, and it is exceptionally beautiful this year with all the precipitation. Thanks Kev for organizing!

Thanks everyone. KOFA is one of my favorite places to camp. I?ll be posting more photos on my blog later today or tomorrow if you are interested.

Jeff, sorry that the health issues delayed your travels. Hope you make it out in February. I know you?ll love KOFA.

Wow, what a difference from last years brown landscape.
We sure wanted to be there but it wasn?t to be. Hopefully next year.
Will be in Q in a week.

Debra, those pictures are beautiful. Im sorry to have missed KOFA but hope to make it next year. I will be in Q in a couple of days. im halfway there. :D

Thanks to Kev and Cyndi for hosting this great little party.  We planned on staying another two weeks in Q.  Unfortunately, our Dometic had other plans.  Looks like it's toast so we're heading home.  For now the only question is another POS RV fridge or residential.  I've always said I'd buy a residential if ours ever failed.  Maria's not on board and likes the RV type.  So after the discussion/debate???

I know everyone's likes and dislikes are different, but after having a residential refer, Diane would never go back to a propane refer. I know there are advantages to a gas refer, but the upside of the residential was much greater for us. I know you still like boondocking a lot, but if you have solar it greatly simplifies the boondocking situation (ask Kev).

Marty and Diane have the same view we do. I was really concerned about it initially, but never would I go back. For the price of a new RV type, you can install a bigger inverter (if you need to) and a couple of extra batteries, and still probably be ahead.
