Still haven?t figured out how to resize an image yet. But my landing gear on the back sheared it?s shear pin and the front one doesn?t spin the lead screw very much if any.  Trying to find parts. Can anyone help?  I could text or email you pics.  Front one spins but very rarely moves the long screw. Like a stripped gear.  Thank you

Landing gear on the back?  Thst makes no sense.  Landing gear is on the nose of the fifth wheel.  There are two, one on the street side and one on the curb side.  Please check your post.
BTW the cross shart on a fivers landing gear cross shaft is a small hex head cap screw.
Pop the top cap off the leg on the powered side.  On the underside will be all the information you will need to order parts.

How to make a signature for your RV so we can serve you better.

1. Click "Profile" button towards the top of the screen.

2. Scroll down a ways and select "Modify Profile"

3. Select Forum Profile

4. Fill it out and click on "Change profile".

Just do a search for "image resizer" and lots of simple free programs will popup.

"Landing gear" usually refers to a specific style of jack with adjustable leg length and used on the front of a Fifth wheel trailer.  The rear is often just a stabilizer rather than a lifting jack. In any case, in order to help we need to know the make and model of the front and rear jacks/legs. Or at least the type, e.g. worm gear, scissors, hydraulic, etc. Trailer year/make/model too.

Thank you. I would say they?re stabilizer jacks then.  One motor runs a long lead screw.  Legs drop out on both sides.  I?ll get on my computer tomorrow and get pictures and everything updated.

You said the rear stabilizer sheared it's pin. Is it the one where you attach the manual  hand crank to or is it the one on the motor end?

I've used a couple websites to resize an image. The easiest one I've found is here: https://picresize.com/

I sheared the pin on the manual end of the mechanism this spring and all it was was a spring pin available at any hardware store. I think the one for the motor end is the same thing. You'll need to take the motor off, drive the sheared pin out with a pin punch then match it up with a new one. Simple

Yes, simple enough. A shear pin is the mechanical equivalent of a fuse - designed to fail before something expensive breaks, perhaps in a more exciting manner.

Which begs the question... why did it break? Find and fix the root cause or the replacement may break too.

I suspect that it has something to do with the confusion between landing legs and stabilizers.
The tech who gave us our new unit walkthrough stressed that the rear stabilizers are not intended to lift the trailer.
