What is the interest about a pick apart rally once a year in Las Vegas?
As long as it’s in the Spring or Fall. I was stationed at Nellis AFB and remember my boots soles melting to the runway. What is the interest about a pick apart rally once a year in Las Vegas?
I remeber that - was there from 70-74. "Hot Dry Summers"! Like a blast furnace in your face, through an open window. Not to mention the possibility of a sand storm where you could not see the car 5 ft. in front of you. I was at the bomb dump and flight line those years. As long as it’s in the Spring or Fall. I was in CE, Electronic Controls. A coworker and I were put in charge of the alarm systems for the bunkers that housed the nukes. We were told not to touch anything, not even the spider webs. If a system in a bunker went down we just told the SP’s to contact whoever managed the nukes to move them to an operational bunker. Best job ever.I remeber that - was there from 70-74.
