I am looking at LCD TVs ... another new technology for me ... I miss rotary dial phones  :) ... my question for you that have traveled this road before is ... what is a good Response Time?  I have seen 8ms to 12ms.  I assume that lower is better but what is a good number?  What number would be unacceptable?  Any help would appreciated.

A television picture refreshes once every 1/30th of a second... Let's check that out

1000/30 = 33.33333ms  So anything under half that (16ms) should be more than fast enough for television

Now if you use it as a computer monitor as well.... try 8ms

I bought this 27" ?LEVIA LCD HDTV about a year ago & use it as both my monitor & tv.
works great! TV, PC & games no problem! & it's made right here in the good ol' USA!!
picked it up new on sale for $900 + came with a $100 rebate!
