We have a new/used Mallard Sprinter.  We had a very heavy rain Monday evening.  On Tuesday we found that the air conditioned vent in the ceiling had leaked on our bed and had water in it.  The other vents; living room, bathroom and childrens bedroom were all dry.  We got the ladder out and looked at the roof but didn't see or feel any holes in the area of the vent or roof vent?  Any thoughts?  How do we fix or is this a service call?  Thanks. :-\

Odds are that your a/c simply clamps to the roof with bolts in each corner. It is not unusual for these to have loosened up in older Rvs.  Remove the interior (ceiling) cover (air inlet) and see if there is a lhead of a ong bolt sticking down in each corner. Try tightening them up, which will pull the a/c down tighter onto its roof gasket. That often fixes the leak. I fit does not, you will have to remove it and install a new gasket.
