Hi All,

New member here.  I have a 97 18 ft Tahoe that I bought in 2010.  I noticed last summer that when I pull it on wet roads, I get moisture in the rear of the trailer, on the floor.  The moisture is only on one side of the trailer and it's where the wall meets the floor.  I can't figure out where it's coming from.  I'm thinking it's from the water on the road and not the roof.  The fabric underneath is in good shape.

Any ideas?

Check the area around the wheel wells, which is usually inside the trailer under a bed or cabinet. My guess would be that water thrown up by the wheels is seeping in around a wire or hose channel. If not the wheel well, something similar in the floor behind the wheels (where water tends to be thrown up).  Had that problem with a motorhome several years ago and solved it with additional undercoating in the wheel well. The problem was where a bundle of wires passed through.
