We have recently developed a leak in our 2004 VW Winnebago Vista.  It comes in from the Air Conditioner.  It only happens when we are level and a heavy rain happens.  When it is parked in my driveway, and a driving rain happens, I get no leakage. I pulled the cover off and checked for obvious signs of water intrusion, but so far no luck.  Any suggestions?

If it's a roof mounted RV air conditioner find the torque specs for the hold down bolts, (in the owner's manual for the A/C unit), and re-torque them.

Are you sire the a/c itself is the source of the leak?  Water dripping from the a/c inside is not conclusive, since most any water that gets below the roof will run to the a/c opening to drip out.  It's possible the the clamping bolts are loose as mel described, but it's not the only possibility.

As for the clamping bolts (accessed from inside via the air intake opening), just make sure they are snug and do not over-tighten.  Hand tight plus a 3-4 more turns should be sufficient.
