For rural living within the snowbelt in the Rockies our Ram Tradesman Power Wagon 4x4 is our go to vehicle in heavy snow due to it's a factory equipped 3/4 ton built for off-road usage. It hasn't much towing and hauling capability compared to our Ram 2500 Laramie 4x4. Two different trucks, both crew cabs, look the same, but the Laramie is a much heavier duty pickup.

Jeep set up to pull our T&B Boondock. 4.56 gears and trailer has brakes. Has no problem pulling this little guy even in strong winds.

Just like we are getting back into camping, we are getting back into wheeling.

3 years ago we bought our Canam Defender Lonestar.... We love this machine, it's handy, fun and practical with 3 kids. We have taken it on out of state trips, trips to the beach and put over 3,000 miles on it cruising the dirt roads around our house.





But we really missed rock crawling and last year on one of our trips our close friends that we go with blew up the transmission in their ranger climbing a hill... so with that in mind we realized we were pushing our sxs a little too hard and decided to just have the canam for dirt roading and we bought another jeep. It is currently under the knife... It's currently on D44's, but I have a set of 1 tons I built and as soon as I am done with our camper renovations I will be back on putting the tons under the jeep and I already have a set of 43" mickey stickies for it...
