99 chieftain has wall lamps that need an automotive light bulb 1075  where can I get any checked NAPA, Auto Zone been told discontinued if so looking for sub or replacing lamps with a more upgraded system

I believe I have seen them at Walmart in the RV section. May not be the same lamp number. Just get the same base, bayonet, single or double contact, 12 volt. Any RV supply and probably truck stop would also have them.

What type of bulb is it, i.e. what base? Bayonet type? Single or double contact? Wedge? Bi-pin?  You can substitute any other bulb with the same base as long as you don't exceed the amp rating of the wire and socket. For pictures of the various bulb bases, go to http://www.rvledbulbs.com/

I'm not aware of any standard automotive bulb designated #1075, so chances are that is a bulb-manufacturer-specific number.
