Little known handy tools

Is that a groove similar to a keyway on top that runs the entire length?
What is the big diameter and the small diameter?
The piece on the left end is that tapered and is there a hole in the end

Large diameter=3.8"
small diameter=1.25"
stem= 0.75"

Does it have a sharp edge cut into it like a hand planer? It looks like you attach it to a drill and use it to round out a hole from a small pilot.
 
My cabinet builder had this little square yesterday. You stick a pencil in a hole and run the square down an edge when you need to mark a line, the increments are very, very minute. The picture doesn't show the right angle part on the back that you place against your material.

The only thing that is part of this set is the red thingy and the pencil. The other tool is a hammer I think and not part of this. Google “woodpecker’s saddle T-4” and they have them on Amazon. They show how to use it. Neat tool
 
I think it’s used for punchline a big hole in sheet metal. I did not cheat.
It is for punching knockouts in electrical enclosures. But yes it can be used on any sheet metal, in fact I have used it for that also. I have a couple of sets, 2 manual and one hydraulic. The hydraulic set is the Bees's knees. I mostly used them in my electrical career but I have also punched holes in steel bumpers for inlets, swamp cooler drains, escutcheons and on my motorhome I punched 3 large holes to get more air to my generator. Below is the hydraulic version. You start with a step bit to get a hole big enough for the arbor then put the tool together.

It's very handy to have around. It's also a lot safer to punch an energized panel than to try and drill it. Yeah I know you're not supposed to work energized but that is not always the reality of it.

Do you know how I cheated? You made it way too easy to cheat! It took me five seconds to figure it out what it is.

Well I tagged the picture "ko" thinking that won't be enough for someone to figure out it is a "knock out" punch, unless you used the Google lens, or the part number on the die.
 
I think it is what I call a spud wrench. It is used by iron workers when they are assembling steel framework. This one is bent. They would stick it in a hole to align two pieces of steel. Much better than using a finger
That's exactly what it is. We'd use them to align the flanges on large (10") hoses for taking on and pumping off oil, gas and chemicals on barges. You get a bolt through one hole and use the spud end to swing the flange into place.

Yes the hammer just happened to be sitting there. It looks like a special hammer but not being a cabinet maker I have no clue what kind of hammer it is. He also had a dead blow hammer which I recognized as I use one for putting attachments on my drill press arbor.

edit: I looked up the hammer and it is a mallet with one rubber face and one plastic face. It has an Acacia handle and is a pricey little bugger.

The cabinet builders did a beautiful job, here's a few pics. We are just waiting on the back splashes and the door pulls. I did all the electrical, plumbing and framing myself. Hired out drywall, tile, cabinets and counter tops. We are in our sixth month without a kitchen but as of this weekend I have the range, dishwasher, microwave, fridge, freezer and sink all installed and working. The fridge/freezer are two separate units and I had to put them together with 3 kits, a trim kit, a pairing kit and an ice kit. The trim kit was a bear and I had to lay them down on their backs and install these skateboard looking things, then set them upright, install heat pads between them then attach them together. I then slid them along sideways on masonite board to the opening where I attached the SS trim and rolled them into the opening, then put the doors back on.
The ice kit is a kit that allows for a single water hookup for both units with the fridge sending filtered water to the ice maker in the freezer.

Tower stackers use those spud wrenches too. Crane or helicopter brings in the next section while crazy guys wait to wrestle the legs into place.
The ones I knew were formerly loggers in northern CA, became tower hands in Alaska when the timber industry died.
