Didn’t somebody say this was an unpaid gig? How would pay for your essentials with no paycheck?
You'd have to be on Social Security. But, if you are old enough to be on Social Security, you are probably too old for this physically demanding position. Sounds like a lot of physical work.

She's going to have a hard time finding the right person, who is financially self-sustaining and still young enough to engage is such physical activity.

I do camp hosting at age 69, and after cleaning a few fire pits in 85 degree weather, I need a rest, some air conditioning, and lots of water!

I really don't think that is true in all cases but the numbers probably are falling. I did that sort of work at the last campground we hosted in at the age of 73 but did take a lot of brakes and I had a tractor to do the heavy lifting. I started to draw SS at the age of 62, as many people do. To me, the main problem with what she wants is that she seems to be offering very little in return. My work at 73 was only 3 days per week and in return we had a full hookup site, access to internet, the use of a boat at times, and a laundry room.

Protect natural habitat and nature itself by tearing up the ground, and possibly trees, and building semi-permanent glamping tents. Ya. right.
This is a commercial venture.

There is a hidden agenda with this one. Not much makes any logical sense but then, how many people on tv or social media make much sense these days ? Then, just the other day, I watched the original Wile E Coyote and Roadrunner cartoon. Now that was sensible television and it looked like it was filmed in or near this live free or die opportunity.

It's projected to be a glamping site. That's like an episode of Survivor where when you're finished filming the "Lord Of The Flies" scene where eight starving software engineers in loin cloths call each other names by the light of a tiki torch, there's a catered buffet.

Maybe if it was in a different state....
Yeah, something must be wrong with California, the richest State in America with the fifth largest economy on the planet and the largest population in America, that's why, as Yogi Berra would say, "nobody goes there anymore".

Someone in California is saying the same of Texas. It's zero sum so you're tied at nothing.
zero sum LOL... what's this about then ?

An estimated 102,000 Californians moved to Texas in 2022
, according to Texas Realtors' 2024 Texas Relocation Report.

don't hear of many Texans moving to CA.

Well then let me help. Zero sum occurs when opposite ends of the same turd argue over which is the clean end.

Until the place is ready?
Work your bag off, then you are sent down the road, when this venture fails?

It seems similar to working for a start up but with no equity position. They want labor that increases the owner’s equity without sharing the increase.
