Finally got the means and freedom to do some traveling. Just got a great deal on low mileage Silverado 2500HD 4x4 and am looking for camper to put in it. These old knees can't hike like I used to but I hope I can get far enough away from the crowds to get some peace and quiet (and good pictures!)

Hi and welcome to the forum. Good to have you join us.

There's no such thing as a stupid question, so please ask anything you need to.

Safe and happy travels.

I lived in a cab over camper for a year in college. It gets small fast. I slept outside on a cot most of the time - California desert area...

Unless you re needing to pull a boat and are doing weekenders you might consider a TT. If you got week knees climbing into an overhead bunk may get old fast as well.

OTOH - Cabovers have come a long way since the late 70's...
