just bought a 1990 triple e empress 992 it came without drivers door key and is locked with the knob on inside of door. Now the knob will not turn to unlock. Does anyone one know how to fix it or why it doesn't turn. Also does anyone know door key number to get a replacement?

Welcome to the forum.
Call a locksmith

I went to Thunder Bay one time. We stayed in a motel there. We had to work in a paper mill several miles north of there. Boy was it cold.

Do you have one of the other keys? This is a very basic lock, probably just a 5 wafer or pin tumbler. You might be able to open it by raking the lock with another key. Can you open the door from the inside or are you locked out? If it's open you can get at the lock assembly by removing the interior panel, and once it's in your hand you might be able to source another lock assembly that comes with a key. Or if you're more ambitious you can disassemble that lock and make a new key for it by hand with a key blank.

As I recall (note about counting on old memories here), that door lock was a pretty common truck part. There are screws inside, and when you get near civilization, you could back out those screws and then either search for a replacement assembly or take it to a lock smith that can make you a key and probably repair the rest of it as well. The interior part may just lack for lubrication.
