Mail Trucks

The USPS has announced a change to EV. There should be a lot of mail delivery trucks for sale.
Are these a candidate for a Toad? I have seen one being used but have not been able to talk to the guy.

:OK, I guess that's good. It seems to me the transmission in the deciding factor.

The Grumman LLV specs say it has a 3-speed GM TurboHydromatic transmission, so you can check up to see if that is towable (doubtful, but maybe). The LLV is ancient tech (early 1980's vintage), with lousy gas mileage and no creature comforts. It's only redeeming virtue might be a low price, but there are surely other 30-40 yo vehicles that are inexpensive (and towable)
