Another question from a newbie.....my air bags (inside the coil springs) on the front suspension, loose several pounds of air over the course of sitting for a few days, maybe 10 pounds in 3 days.  Is this considered normal??

Usually you will not have to add air over a couple of months. The bags are subject to wear against the coil springs if the pressure is left too low. They are not had to test or replace if necessary.

Usually you can hear or feel the air leaking around the springs or fittings.

As Jeff said, the bags should retain pressure for several months. OTOH if the bags were damaged, I wouldn't expect them to hold air at all. You might try replacing the valvle cores. They're just like the ones on the tires of your car.
