I'm lucky, I can leave our MH in the garage, sit our chairs in front of the garage and watch the entire event.
We drove to TN to watch the last one that passed through the Midwest.

I already have my reservations at a commercial campground just north of Garner State park in Texas near the centerline. I am just hopeful that there are no clouds as this eclipse occurs during the rainy season for this region.

I was in this immediate area in April about 25 years ago, and we had clouds and rain for 5 days straight.

Oh well, same thing applies. If I come back to Arkansas for the winter, I'll be right under the path, but I'll have to leave before it happens. Probably sooner next year, as I've been delaying my departure this year due to all my campgrounds being under 8' of snow right now.

I must correct my post; it says the last eclipse. That not right, it is for me the last one.
I saved my viewing glasses from the last eclipse I witnessed 4-5 years ago in TN. I'll have little use for them after this eclipse unless I make it to 100.
Jubilee The Germans are working on a way to bring back a dead person now. Perhaps they'll also find a way to prolong healthy life.
