Maui Sunset says hello

Hi, I'm Maui Sunset and I live in Maui
We lived in St. Louis for 40 years and retired here in Maui
Our son lives in St. Louis and just got married

I'm looking to the day we that that phone call "Hi GrandPa and GrandMa to be"
we don't want to sell our home in Maui
we want to stay close to our son's home as they get ready for a new baby
but we don't want to buy a home in St. Louis - again
he might have to move in a few years because of his work
we don't want to pay $30k a year to rent a house near him

So we are considering buying an RV - a Class 3 and park it at an RV park nearby
and driving it to our son's home when we can help him
on the weekends we want to tour the midwest
and several times a year take long road trips
and of course head back to Maui once in a while

While we are not using the coach I bet our son's family would love to use it too

Our budget is $150k
I like RoadTrek/Hymer because of their 6 year bumper to bumper warranty
I like their technology
but I don't like having to winterize the rig December to March

So that's our story
getting information now
so when we get that "hi Grandpa" phone call
I can place an order that could take 3 - 6 months to fulfill

I think you mean class B not 3
I would not want to full time in a Class B
If you get a newer Class A or C then you could go to Arizona, Texas etc for the winter until you get the call.

But me I would just pop in for a visit from Maui spend a couple of weeks at an extended stay and then get out of their hair
