There is a clock on the microwave, if its on microwave works, if not it doesn't, clock has been going off and on all by itself, breaker never trips, Any idea why the microwave keeps loosing power ? Brand is Apollo, its 17 years old. Thanks
My guess is it would be a loose wire or bad contact. At that age, it might be time to look at a new microwave. When the then 19 year old Sharp MW in our rig got flaky, the replacement cost at Camping World was $365. Instead, I took the dimensions and a tape measure to Walmart and found an exact fit except an inch shorter depth from Hamilton Beach on sale for $88. Some minor bending of the vented surround mounting straps too care of the depth difference. Oh, and some small wood shims to adjust the height so the mounting holes matched the existing screw holes. There is a clock on the microwave, if its on microwave works, if not it doesn't, clock has been going off and on all by itself, breaker never trips, Any idea why the microwave keeps loosing power ? Low or intermittent AC voltage? Do you have shore power or are you running the MW on an inverter? There is a clock on the microwave, if its on microwave works, if not it doesn't, clock has been going off and on all by itself, breaker never trips, Any idea why the microwave keeps loosing power ?
