I was wondering if it is O.K. to tow a MINI COOPER (Standard Trans) ?  Remco states that they make a base plate. Please let me know ......

Kind Regards,

There are GENERAL rules, which work well at General, but alas don't always fit.

The General rule is that standard transmission (Stick Shift) vehicles can be towed

NOTE: there are exceptions

REMCO is the company which specializes in knowing all about it though, so wait for their reply

Yes, but it does not mean that no modifications are required to do so without damage.  It may be towable "as is" or it can be made towable with the addition of some components.
