The other night we went on a moon light ride in Acadia NP, started just before sunset and rode about 2 hours and 20 miles on the carriage roads. We got to see deer, a porcupine, a few bats and a shooting star. The skies were cloudy so we only saw the moon a few times.
It is so quiet out there at night. We can't wait to go again.

I had not thought about night rides. Now I will be on the lookout for a place to do that. Champoe Park in Oregon. The trails are off rode and flat and wide and under oak trees! The campground at Fort Casey on Whidbey Island. I'm sure there are many more
