How are solar panels mounted on RV roofs (rubber)?  Has someone already written some info on this?  Thanks.

Well my panels are on there own stainless frame.
It mounted with 16 bolts through the roof with sealer sticky calk,
then has butterfly bolts.
But mine has a hand held remote that raises the panels to 45 degrees, then
spins the frame to put the panels in the face of the sun, then this system will
track the sun all day, and run on ten storage batteries at night. This system came all as
a kit. This company sells just the frame if you already have your panels. I have had panels that
were just mounted flat, they worked alright, but I was only getting the full power out of them
about 2-3 hours a day. This system works darn well as the panels are in the face of the sun
as long as the sun is up. If you want more information let me know and I will give you the website.
Have a good day.

Thanks for the reply.  Do you have a rubber membrane roof?  Is there any concern that the membrane will tear or shrink near the bolts?  Are the bolts visible inside the RV?  That sounds like a nice setup with the tracker, who did you buy it from?
