I recently reported on St. David's day, and updated my library of Welsh songs.

Today I watched the Italy v Ireland rugby 6-nations game. I always sing the national anthems, and know most of the anthems in the 6-nations tournament, and offshore countries such as South Africa.

I've always sung along with what I thought was the Irish national anthem, but it turns out not to be the "original" anthem. It was created as an alternative anthem, and is sung in international sports events.
