Must-Have Tools and Organization Tips for an RV Remodel

We've been doing some basic upgrades and renos to the rig as of late. Curious what some "must-haves" are when you're in the midst of a reno project?

Some lifesavers for me have been an oscillating multi-tool, quality shop vac, headlamps, plastic pry tools for trim removal, and butyl tape since EVERYTHING needs to be eventually reseasled)

Been on the site for many a home improvement project and it's wild how much an RV remodel can differ. With tight spaces, lightweight materials, weird fasteners etc it's like a whole different world.

What are some tools worth every penny according to you? Do you have any gear that you would say is non-negotiable when starting a reno?

Also curious if anyone has a go-to organization setup for keeping screws, fittings, and random RV hardware from disappearing into another dimension during a project

Laser gun for that. (Well the laser is very low power aiming type the "Gun" is an Infra Red Pyrometer.) Point and shoot. the red dot tells you where you shot. Not a hole punch.

Other than a full set of wrenches. Screwdrivers and such a goog Multi-meter and an Automotive type test light (A 120/240 volt test light might be nice too) with a set of extension leads. LOTS OF STORAGE SPACE.
Wherever possible dual purpose stuff like a storage bench instead of a couch unless it's a J-couch. Lay it out so things that may need attention (Water pump. Converter and such) can get said attention without standing on your head or otherwise contorting. Do what Detroit does. Think about repair.. Only do it the opposite of how Detroit does it ("Oh that's too easy how can we make it harder)

Short story: Changing heater core 1960s car. Hemostat heater hoses (Book says drain the system) Remove, remove about a dozen screws. Lift lid and felt mat, Lift core, drop in new core replace mat, lid, screws, hoses, clamps, remove hemostats. (Clamps on hoses) Start engine and re-fill radiator with coolant mix. Done.

Today: Evacuate A/C. and disconnect and cap lines. Dissassamble half the dash. THen see above

One car: Remove steering column.
