My Absence

Hello All!
I have not been here for awhile. Several things contributed. My health took a dive (Lyme Disease) I discovered you tube, and was watching RVers out there doing it. I felt I really needed to go RVing before I would have much to add.
Since then...
For our 50th anniversary, (May, 2022) my wife wanted to go to a tropical island, and Key West was the only one we could drive to.
Fall 2022, to Asheville NC for a week to see fall colors.
2023: to Las Vegas for our son / grandson Spring Break, then San Diego, Joshua Tree NP, Quartzite (one night), Saguaro NP, White Sands NP, Guadalupe Mountain NP, Carlsbad Caverns NP, Big Bend NP, San Antonio, Austin, Waco, Hot Springs NP, then back home.
Fall 2023: Ark Experience, Flight 93 Memorial, Harper's Ferry, Antietam, Gettysburg, Hershey, Strausburg, Scranton, Niagara Falls, Cuyahoga Valley NP, Age of Steam, then home.
2024 : 3 months Cheyenne WY to see cousin I had not seen in 50 years, Rocky Mountain NP, Custer SD - Badlands NP, Wall Drugs, Wind Cave NP, Mt Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Devil's Tower, Cody WY, Yellowstone NP, Grand Teton NP, 3 weeks in Idaho, Glacier NP, Teddy Roosevelt NP, Minneapolis, Des Moines, and home.
This last trip was quite the adventure, with various camper issues. I will try to cover them in another post. Suffice it to say when we get everything fixed, it will be up for sale.

Nice to hear from you again, Preacher. When you sell the RV, will that be the end of your RV journey or just a pause?

Due to health and age (both me and the RV) the FW must go. We are looking at Class C about 30 ft. We have been looking on line, but the FW must sell first to make funds available.
We have truly enjoyed traveling with this rig. Due to the education I got here before purchase, we got the right tow vehicle and the right FW for us. I have never regretted the choice of either nor wished something was different on either one.
