So I just build a normal wood staircase with handrails?

Short answer Yes. The staircase is not attached to the 5th wheel and the original steps are not removed. See post #7 picture.

The question is are you at your permeant location, going to move another location or planning to travel in the future? If never moving wood stairs would work. If not permeant then check out the portable stairs Port-A-Step cost vs non portable wood stairs cost.

I have had both portAstep & portAporch for about 12 years. The original company was near me over in Emory Tx. My wife was getting dis- abled and the platform and the stretched stairs really helped her and our then 3 old Dachsunds getting in & out.Easy to set up/take down. I have no clue what the cost is now but what I paid was worth every penny so my Wife & our old dogs could travel
