We just bought a 2011 Coachmen Chapparral - two switches near the kitchen sink - one is for the overhead fan/light the other is for ?... The dealer said it was for something "outside" but I forgot what?  When we flip the switch, nothing outside or inside shows as obvious.  Any Chapparral owners to help me with the mystery?
Thanks,
Karen

I have a switch in my fifth wheel that disables the slides from being moved from inside. When it is activated I can only operate the slides outside at the front jack switch.

I had the same issue with my StarCraft.
I asked the previous owner and they didn't know.

For some reason my battery started running down, and I noticed the switch was on. Then one nite I was walking by the unit plugged in in storage and saw that a lite was on near the sewer pipes. Duh..

Outside under lite for late nite hooking up.

It might also supply power (like a 'master switch') to the lights located in the storage compartments. They may not show until you open the compartment and turn on the individual lights.... Not unlike the switch described by n7qvu....
