Navistar might sell Monaco/HR RV division

This is really nothing new from what has been previously announced.

If they can find the right buyer, the business might be sold, otherwise it will continue as Navistar. I would not be surprised, if they keep the business, that they either expand the Roadmaster Chassis business to include a gas chassis, or that they shut down Roadmaster and move the business to FL and/or Spartan.

Note that Spartan moved its chassis business to Wakarusa. It's in one of the Utilimaster plants they bought. Holiday Rambler  used to own Utilimaster before Monaco bought it from Harley. The RV business is a small world.

Agree with Ken - the present situation appears to be that Navistar would sell most anything outside their core engine business if the price was right. They are open to all potential offers, but they insist there will be no "fire sale". Despite the fact that they really need the cash.
