Need Interior Photo 1987 Ford Glendale

Hi All Owners of Ford Glendale Vintage Motorhomes,

I’ve been completely restoring/renovating my 1987 Ford Glendale Sterling Series.

So long ago since I dismantled the cab interior underneath the bunkbed that I forgot to take photo of this area:

requesting photos of interior area above the windshield and behind the sun visors.

I cannot figure out where the carpet/fabric ended anf where the bare beige metal begins.

If anyone has a similar Ford Glendale I hope they will be so kind to post me 2/3 photos of that areas behind sun visors.

Many thanks for the video. I will offer this comment - the Motorhome featured in this video is a gem - but IO imagine its sold by now.

Your video came close to what I wanted to see but did not show the exact view.

So, for others offering to help, please see the attached picture - annotated with a few pointers.

Please see areas Labelled 1 and 2 - I'm not sure what material were used (upholstery, carpet, or panels?)

Hopefully someone in the forum with this vintage motorhome can help you with clearer pictures of the area.

In the meantime, I found this other one, online. I think you can see that area 3 (and 2, possibly?) were lined with carpet:

Thank you, that helps a lot for sure.

Looks like I am going to have to anchor a strip of 3-ply plywood or a panelboard in area 1 as a base to attach carpet or upholstery. Then it just a matter of extending the detailing down into areas 2-3 to just above the sun visor hinge.

FYI this project has been a work in progress since I moved to Yellowknife in 2013 - essentially a complete rebuild. I might write this up one day for the benefit of others.
