We are about to look for a new toad and wondered what has been a good one to have.  We currently have a saturn sedan but it is too low to the ground.  Want something on the lighter side, really don't want alot of weight to pull and something you don't have to crawl into.  Any suggestions would be appreicated.  What works for you?  Cheryl ???

We tow a Jeep Grand Cherokee but that is heavier than your current toad.  Jeep will be coming out with a new model called a Compass later this year.  The Compass is suppose to get 30 MPG so it is probably lighter.  From what I have read it sounds like it might be a great economical 4WD car.

We tow a Honda CR-V, as do many other fulltimers. It is very easy to tow and very reliable. We have towed ours now for about 40K and driven it another 90K and no problems at all. We just had the brakes redone (from pads and clean rear) and this is the very first thing other than tires and oil changes. It is one great little SUV. We have the 4WD version. If we were to trade today we would also check out the Saturn Vue.
