It is hard to say, on a 11 year old 5r, it will all boil down to how it was cared for. It will be very important to look for water damage. We use to have a great library resource with things to look for, but this site is undergoing a new software installation and the library is not up and going yet. If you are uncomfortable, most of us highly encourage you hire a professional inspector to look it over and give advise. As important as buying the 5r, what are you pulling it with? In general, RV salespeople are not good sources for knowledge, think along the line... used car salesperson, tell ya what ya want to hear. Good luck, hope it works out. If you have more specific questions don't hesitate to ask.

As Spencer says, condition is everything. In general, though, the Dutchman brand focuses on "entry level" models that have attractive prices rather than highest quality construction and design. That doesn't make it bad - I'm just trying to position it vs some other brands that probably cost more. Design and construction isn't always obvious, e.g. the trailer frame may be more or less rugged, weight capacity may differ, plumbing and electric can be well-protected and laid out for easy of access or loosely buried somewhere.

The key things will be condition and how well it suits your needs. And whether your truck has enough weight carrying and tow-pulling capacity for the one you choose.

The Denali line is one one of Dutchmans upscale models offering better quality than the base models but with substantial savings. I have a Voltage made for Dutchman on the same line as the Raptor but 20k cdn less and not quite as upscale. Im pleased with it. But trailers are hand built and quality varies. Check it carefully.
